Today is a truly special moment ~ because Karen’s Holistic Haven is officially live.

This website for holistic hairdressing and more has been created as more than just a place to book a hair appointment. It’s a digital extension of the peaceful, sacred space I hold in the salon itself. It’s a reflection of my journey as a hairstylist, energy healer, mindfulness teacher, and woman who believes that beauty is a whole-body experience ~ rooted in care, presence, and intention.

For many years, my focus was traditional hairdressing. I loved helping people look their best. But somewhere along the way, I began to feel that something deeper was calling ~ a desire to help my clients feel grounded, seen, and energetically supported. As I trained in mindfulness, studied energy healing and Reiki, and embraced holistic wellness practices, my work naturally began to change. My chair became a sanctuary. My appointments transformed into rituals. And the idea for Karen’s Holistic Haven began to grow.

Now, both the physical salon and this new online home are designed to offer a different kind of hairdressing experience ~ one that honours the divine feminine, prioritises rest, and invites you to slow down and reconnect.

The names of each service—like Water Goddess, Cosmic Queen, and Summer Queen—are inspired by feminine archetypes and natural cycles. These aren’t just titles, but invitations to embody a certain energy or state of being.

The Mane Magic services page includes a lovingly curated menu of offerings ~ everything from classic cuts and colour to deeply nourishing healing treatments, energy work, and seasonal rituals. You can book a simple blow dry, or you can surrender to a full healing session involving essential oils, chakra balancing, crystals, and guided rest. Every visit is private and one-on-one, allowing you to fully relax without distraction. No shared space, no loud chatter ~ just peace, presence, and care.
